Jonghyun studied his watch again, his eyebrows furrowed. He headed to their practice room door when it dramatically opened. “Yah! Do you think I have much time to spare?!” he yelled, expecting the other members to suffice

Jessica stood dumbfounded in front of the opened door, she was in a sour mood for changing practice rooms and now she got to be yelled like this? Her right eyebrow started to rise as she looked at the cocky guy inside the room “And do you think I wanted to be here?!” she retorted

Jonghyun looked at her in surprise, he studied her petite form and doll-like face and a corner of his mouth curved. “Another pretty face.” he muttered to himself

“Cute dimple” she thought as she saw that smirk, but as if adding oil to fire she heard him mutter something “What did you just say?!” she stormed inside the room, her hands on her hips ready for battle

He looked at her feigning innocence “Did I just say something?” he smirked sarcastically making Jessica breathe fire. She was about to fire bullet words on him when the rest of the gang entered the room

The gang stared at them in confusion. A palpable tension was all over the room that made them transfer glances from Jonghyun and Jessica.

Yonghwa walked inside the room and gave the girls a chair “Here, here. Take your seat gals! You’re our VIP visitors here” he said trying to ease the tension

Hyo walked near Jessica and dragged her to her seat while the last glowers over Jonghyun.

Yonghwa gathered his group in a small circle “What was that?” he started in a hush tone while glaring at Jonghyun

Jonghyun sighed “I was a little irritated because you’re like an hour late?” he said his voice biting

“We’re sorry, it’s just that…” Yonghwa started to explain but was interrupted

“Yeah, yeah. You were busy collecting hot chicks. I know” Jonghyun rolled his eyes and look at the girls who gathered near the keyboard.

Yonghwa gritted his teeth, trying his best to stay calm. They are at fault for being late, he knew that, and he is not going to start a fight over that with these girls around.

“Hyung, we’re sorry” Jungshin apologized profusely “Let’s not fight and just have fun. Okay? Let’s look at it at the bright side”

“What bright side? That you’re already here after an hour of being late?”

Jungshin winced “Well… That I think Jessica has the HOTS for you.” their eyes flew to Jessica, who is still giving Jonghyun death glare. They sniggered, the conflict magically left them. as expected Jungshin always have smart-ass comments at everything to ease the groups tension.

Yonghwa nodded at Jonghyun who smiled back. “We’ll start off with Geek in the Pink then I’m a Loner after that let’s have a short break.” The boys nodded in confirmation “Let’s show these girls we can rock.” He extended his hand, the boys followed suit “CNBLUE… fighting!” they never do it before practice but because they have audiences, then it wouldn’t hurt.

Minhyuk sat in front of his drums, drumsticks on hand. Jonghyun, Yonghwa and Jungshin picked up their electric guitars and bass, throw the sling over their head and turned on their electric gadgets. Yonghwa stood in front of the standing microphone. He stared at Seohyun who sat in front of the keyboard and the other girls in front of him. Their eyes full of anticipation.

“We’ll play 2 songs first and then we’ll discuss your number during the break” he looked at the 3 girls simultaneously. They give him an okay sign.

Tiffany and Minhyuk exchanged eye smiles after Yonghwa instructed Minhyuk to give the count. “One, two, three” he counted with his drum sticks, and the room started to fill with music. Yonghwa’s husky voice resonated in the room “(do do do...)Well let the geek in the pink take a stab at it. If you like the way I'm thinkin' baby wink at it……” he winked at Joohyun who blushed profusely

“I’m the geek in the pink” Yonghwa finished, as soon as the music stopped the girls applauded

“Jungshin! Jungshin! Jungshin!” Hyo chanted which garnered a blow on the back from Jessica

Tiffany smiled quietly at Minhyuk who shyly scratched the back of his head after the performance

Jonghyun let a full blown smile on his face complete with dimples on at Jessica who just rolled her eyes on him. His smile widened as she did that “How cute” he thought

While Yonghwa stared at the girl who busied herself touching the keyboard while stealing quick glances at him and blushed because she got caught. He smiled “How cute!” he thought. He sighed “Our next song is I’m a loner”
